Pricing
US$499 per certified product, paid once. That fee appoints us as your Canadian Representative for one IC certification number — every model, HVIN and PMN listed under it — and keeps us in place for as long as the product is offered on the Canadian market, which is the period RSP-100 requires you to have a representative. There is no renewal date and no second invoice. No setup fee, no per-enquiry charge, no fee when ISED asks us a question.

US$499 paid once
- Canadian Representation for as long as the product is offered on the Canadian market
- One IC certification number, all listed models, HVINs and PMNs
- Signed attestation letter the same business day
- ISED enquiry handling and audit sample coordination included
- Revisions always free — no time limit, no fee
- No renewal date, no second invoice
Certifying several products a year?
The fee is US$499 per certification however many you file. If it helps your purchasing team, we can work to a purchase order or set up a single consolidated invoice covering several certifications instead of paying one at a time — the price is the same either way. Laboratories and certification bodies ordering letters for several foreign clients usually do this and bill their clients directly; see for labs and certification bodies.
Payment
Card payments through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and most regional cards) clear immediately and the letter issues the same business day. Wire transfers are accepted and the letter issues when funds arrive, typically one to three banking days. We invoice in US dollars; Canadian-dollar invoices are available on request for Canadian-billed entities. Purchase orders are accepted.
Revisions
Revisions to a letter we have issued are free, with no time limit and no fee. A new model or HVIN under the same certification, a corrected applicant name or address, a reissued letter — as many times as you need, for as long as the appointment lasts. Use the revision form; revised letters issue the same business day.
The one boundary is the certification number. A revision covers changes under the same IC certification number. A new IC number is a new certification and needs its own appointment at US$499.
There is nothing to renew. An appointment you have paid for continues for as long as the product is offered on the Canadian market, on the terms of service.
Why we publish the price
Our fee is the same for every client and every product, so there is nothing to negotiate and no reason to make you ask. It also lets your lab or CB put a firm number in their project quote.
Do you charge for revisions?
No. Revisions are free, with no time limit and no cap on how many you request, for as long as the appointment lasts. That covers added models and HVINs under the same IC number, corrected applicant details, and reissued letters. A new IC certification number is a new certification at US$499.
Is there an annual fee or a renewal fee?
No. US$499 is paid once per certified product and covers Canadian Representation for that certification for as long as the product is offered on the Canadian market. There is no annual fee, no renewal date and no second invoice.
Is there a fee if ISED contacts you about my product?
No. Responding to ISED enquiries and coordinating audit samples is part of the appointment. You pay for the sample and its shipping, as RSP-100 requires, not for our time.
Do you charge per model or per HVIN?
No. One certification number, one fee, regardless of how many models or HVINs it covers.
What if the product is discontinued?
Tell us and the appointment ends. We ask clients once a year to confirm which certified products are still offered on the Canadian market, so the file closes when the product does.
Is tax added?
Fees to applicants outside Canada are not subject to Canadian sales tax. Canadian-billed entities are charged HST where applicable.
