Manufacturers outside Canada, by country
Any applicant with a company address outside Canada needs a Canadian Representative under RSP-100 section 4.1, wherever it is based. What differs by country
The substance of RSP-100 section 4.1 does not change anywhere: if the applicant's company address is outside Canada, a Canadian Representative is appointed and the certification body asks for the letter before issuing the IC number. What differs is the route to the certificate. Some countries have both an ISED-recognized certification body and an ISED-recognized test laboratory, so the whole file can run domestically. Others have one and not the other, so either the measurements travel or the certificate is issued abroad. A few have neither, and a smaller number sit outside any Canadian mutual recognition agreement altogether, which changes where the file can be tested at all. Manufacturers elsewhere
We accept applicants from any country outside Canada. The same letter, fee and turnaround apply, and revisions are free with no time limit. Payment by card in US dollars is simplest; wire transfers are accepted from any bank.
